"Awakening to Sexual and Spiritual Power"- A Tantra Retreat for Men
This retreat offers participants the opportunity to experience personal relaxation and private time, as well as time spent with a diverse group of men interested in a common theme: Tantra. Tantra includes the practices of Meditation and somatic, sensual experiences which are done with full consent and respect for all involved. The following themes will be explored and practiced: * Introduction to Meditative Practices, * the practice of setting and respecting both; personal and group boundaries, * the practice of full engagement with another in a way that feels right, * learning to ask for what you need and to negotiate your needs with others, * learning to enjoy the pleasures of sensual engagement, with yourself and with another, without guilt and shame, * learning to recognize and honor the divine in the bliss we feel in our bodies, and much more...

To be fully present for the retreat, it is suggested to arrive on May 31 and use the rest of that day and the morning of the next day to relax, especially if flying or arriving from remote destinations. The retreat starts at 5 pm on June 1st. This means that participants will have the morning to themselves, have a siesta or explore the surroundings after Lunch, and be back for a 5 PM start of the retreat. The first session will go from 5 until 7:30 PM, with time to get ready for Dinner at 8 PM. The rest of the evening will be yours to lounge at home. You may want to schedule an invigorating massage before going to sleep, and/or enjoy mingling with your fellow retreatants. From June 2- 4, mornings will be free for participants to explore the beaches and towns on their own, or to relax at home. Casa Risa will provide suggestions about places to see. There is a beach accessible by train (one stop only). But there is a lot more to see in this beautiful and popular area of Portugal. On June 5: We depart after Lunch. Anyone wishing to stay longer may inquire with Casa Risa about the possibility of an extended stay. Those traveling from abroad may wish to explore other parts of Portugal after our retreat.
